New Hazardous Waste Regulations |
Did you know that if you are a hazardous waste producer and produce more than 200kg of hazardous waste per year then you must register this fact with the Environment Agency by the 16th July 2005.
Did you also know that hazardous waste now includes a much wider range of wastes than before.
Paint cans
Batteries
Fluorescent tubes
Computer monitors and many more ?
So it is highly likely that you will need to register. If you fail to register then it will be illegal for any waste company to collect hazardous waste from you.
