What does recycling mean?
Recycling conserves natural resources and refers to the reuse of materials in their original form, or the processing of used or waste materials to make them acceptable for reuse. Items which can not be reused by donation to charity, family or friends, can be processed or treated for reuse instead of being thrown away and disposed of in landfill sites. The green recycle symbol on any packaging, plastic bottles and glass will tell you if the product can be recycled.
